Tensicorder

Tensicorder is a fast and simple way to read tensiometers with 1 hPa (1 mbar) sensitivity, and data storage.

The Soil Measurement Systems’ Tensicorder is a handheld, battery-operated meter, which includes a needle probe and a digital display. To operate the Tensicorder simply place the needle probe over a tensiometer.

The needle penetrates the septum stopper on top of the tensiometer. The tension inside the tensiometer is measured and displayed in hPa (mbar). Press the STORE button, and the tension is recorded in memory for later transfer to a computer.
